Itinerary

Arrival in Addis Ababa
Day 1:
On arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Your Addis Ababa tour begins in this vibrant capital, set over 2,300 meters above sea level Start at the National Museum, home of “Lucy” and Ethiopia’s ancient history. Continue to the Ethnographic Museum, Merkato market, and Holy Trinity Cathedral. Pass by the African Union headquarters and enjoy sweeping city views
Addis Ababa – Arba Minch
.Day 2:
Drive through Gurage and Wolayita regions. Enjoy scenic landscapes and stop at villages en route. View Lake Abaya before reaching Arba Minch.
Dorze Village & Lake Chamo
Day 3:
Visit Dorze village, known for its weaving and beehive huts. Afternoon boat trip on Lake Chamo to see crocodiles, hippos, and birdlife.
Arba Minch – Konso – Jinka
Day 4:
Drive to Jinka via Konso. Explore Konso cultural village, terraced hills, and local traditions. Stop at Key Afer market if it's market day.
Mursi Tribes & Ari Village
Day 5:
Visit Mursi people in Mago National Park, famous for lip plates. Afternoon cultural experience with the Ari tribe to see traditional crafts and drink preparation.
Jinka – Turmi (via Dimeka)
Day 6:
Drive to Turmi through Dimeka, home to the Hamer people. Explore their lifestyle, hairstyles, and traditional attire.
Karo Tribe Visit (Murulle)
Day 7:
Drive to Korcho village along the Omo River to meet the Karo tribe, known for elaborate body painting. Return to Turmi.
Omorate & Dassanech Tribe
Day 8:
Cross the Omo River to visit the Dassanech tribe near the Kenya border. Discover their agro-pastoral life and traditional housing. Return to Turmi.
Turmi – Yabello (via Erbore & Konso)
Day 9:
Travel through Erbore and Konso areas, then into Borena Oromo territory. Visit the traditional “singing wells” and cattle culture.
El Sod Crater – Yirgalem
Day 10:
Explore El Sod, a crater lake known for salt mining by the Borena people. Continue through the Sidama coffee region to Yirgalem.
Yirgalem – Lake Langano
Day 11:
Drive via Lake Awassa and visit the local fish market. Continue to Lake Langano via Abijata-Shala National Park and enjoy the Rift Valley scenery.
Langano – Addis Ababa
Day 12:
Return to Addis Ababa via Debre Zeit crater lakes. Enjoy shopping or relaxing before attending a cultural farewell dinner with live traditional music and dance. Day-use room for refreshment before airport transfer.
Departure
Day 13:
Transfer to Bole International Airport for your international flight. End of the tour.
