Arrival in Addis Ababa
Day 1:
Experience Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s vibrant capital blending history and modern life. Uncover ancient roots at the National Museum, home to the fossil “Lucy.” Explore diverse cultures at the Ethnographic Museum. Step into spiritual history at St. George Cathedral. Experience Merkato’s energy and visit the African Union headquarters.
Drive to Bahir Dar
Day 2:
Scenic drive via the Blue Nile Gorge and Debre Libanos Monastery. Arrive in Bahir Dar, a beautiful city on Lake Tana.
Lake Tana & Blue Nile Falls
Day 3:
Boat trip to island monasteries with centuries-old murals. Afternoon hike to the roaring Blue Nile Falls.
Drive to Gondar
Day 4:
Drive through the highlands to Gondar, the 17th-century royal capital. visit castles and churches in the historic Royal Enclosure.
Gondar to Simien Mountains (Sankaber)
Day 5:
Drive to Debark and enter the Simien Mountains National Park. start your trek and enjoy dramatic views and wildlife.
Trek to Geech Camp
Day 6:
Trek through valleys and cliffs, passing the Jinbar Waterfall. Reach Geech Camp for a night in the highlands.
Trek to Chenek Camp
Day 7:
Hike past Imet Gogo for stunning views of the escarpment. Look out for Walia ibex and Gelada baboons along the way.
Return to Gondar & Fly to Lalibela
Day 8:
Drive back to Gondar and take a short flight to Lalibela. Rest and prepare for exploring Ethiopia’s rock-hewn churches.

Visit the iconic 12th-century rock-hewn churches of Lalibela. marvel at Bete Medhane Alem, Bete Maryam, and Bete Giyorgis.
